Tonia Rogers is an American reporter and News anchor currently working at WPTV in West Palm Beach since 1994. At the moment, Tania is an integral part of the WPTV Today On 5 morning team.
McRoberts got her start in journalism at WPTV, working out of the Treasure Coast bureau. There, she frequently served as the sole reporter on a broad spectrum of stories, ranging from urgent crime and courtroom drama to politics, the environment, health, and animal welfare.
Through her experiences, Vannia has been to Washington, D.C., where she had the incredible opportunity to work with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. Moreover, she is a proud Haitian American and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
Talking about her career, she started her journalism career as a reporter for KTXS, based in Abilene, Texas, and later joined WDBJ in Roanoke, Virginia. During her time there, she covered major news such as politics and interviewed famous people like former President Barack Obama and former Virginia Governor Mark Warner, among others.
